I often think about what are the most important things in my life.
So I am going to reflect on ten things which are important and rank them from the most to the least important.
The most important thing in my life is Family.
I have parents, siblings, grandparents, uncles and aunts, cousins and they are the foundation of my life. We all need each other.
Next I would have to say Home because as a family, we need a base habitat from which to live and take shelter.
The combination of family and home provide the stability and security my life needs.
Third on the list I would say is Education because it gives me the knowledge and information to make important decisions.
After this, for number four, I put Health and Fitness. Education gives me the understanding of how I take care of myself by doing regular exercise and eating the right kind of food.
At number five, I would place Time.
Time management is a big issue for everyone and twenty four hours in a single day does not seem enough.
I believe it is the correct order of importance because I co-ordinate knowledge and information with health and fitness to manage my time more wisely and effectively. I could not do it the other way around.
At number six, I must put Socialisation. I have many different kinds of friends from all walks of life and I value the friendship of everybody as well as the life skills which I have to put into action in my daily life.
Experience comes in at number seven.
My experiences in life are only worthy ones if I have managed my life in a good way.
Experiences happen to us in a structured way as we move from childhood through adolescence to adulthood and embark on an independent life based on choices.
We can only make those choices if we have a foundation for it through family, friends, school and having the time to make it happen.
I am not a religious person but I am going to put Religion at number eight ahead of the last two options.
The simple reason for this is faith and belief, having the conviction that dreams can come true and something can be done even if it seems impossible and against the odds.
It is, therefore, having the spiritual feeling that there is a way to achieve what you want based on everything you logically understand.
I have left Entertainment and Money until last.
I remain relatively undecided which one is number nine and which one is last.
But I am going to choose Entertainment at number nine.
Money may be needed for some entertainment but not all because some forms of entertainment are free and cost nothing at all.
It may then be a thin line between distinguishing something I do which is entertainment and something I do as a social activity.
I put Money last because it is just a means to an end.
I cannot deny that money is not important to me because it is but of all the important that I must consider, it is the least important.
Money is a mere commodity and I like to think that I could live without it even if I cannot as I live my life right now.
I hope that this short narrative will help you to think what is important in your life and give me the opportunity to continue your practice of the English language.
